Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP from Ratlam-Jhabua seat in Madhya Pradesh, Dileep Singh Bhuria passed away today at a hospital in Gurgaon after abrief illness. The 71-year-old tribal leader suffered from brain hemorrhage and heart attack following which he died at around11 AM, his family said. Bhuria is survived by wife, two sons and four daughters.
Bhuria a six time Lok Sabha MP had also been Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Prime Minister has expressed grief over the demise of Mr. Bhuria. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, the country has lost a veteran political leader who did immense work for tribal communities. Mr Modi said, Bhuria had years of legislative experience, both in Madhya Pradesh and at the National level, which was his major asset.
