“Today Raja has made it clear in the court that all the transactions in the 2G case were cleared after permission was given by Prime Minister and Chidambaram,” BJP president Nitin Gadkari said.
Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal however hit out at BJP for demanding the resignation of Manmohan Singh and P Chidambaram by treating the argument of former Telecom Minister A Raja in 2G scam case in the court as evidence against the government.
Sibal in a press conference said it was ‘unfortunate’ that president of a national political party like BJP demanded resignation on the basis of arguments made by Raja in the court.
“It is most unfortunate that the BJP president is reacting on the basis of an Raja’s argument inside the court. We followed the NDA policy on spectrum allocation,” Sibal said.
