PATNA: Campaigning for the first phase of election in Bihar the state came to an end this evening.  47 constituencies will go to polls in this phase on Thursday. Most of the constituencies are in the border areas. The candidates have started door to door campaigning to garner support of voters.  Stalwarts of different political parties including star campaigners addressed a series of meetings and rallies for this phase.
Meanwhile the BJP promised that if their government is voted to power in Bihar there will no tax on food grains including wheat, Paddy and Rice. Releasing the Party manifesto along with State Party President Dr. C.P. Thakur at Patna this evening senior leader of Party Venkaiya Naidu said that a separate commission will be constituted for the welfare measures for poor people of the forward classes. Six hours electricity will be provided to farmers of the state.
