Two complaints have been registered against senior Samajwadi Party leader and former Minister Azam Khan over his controversial remark against the Indian Army. Complaints have been lodged in Lucknow and Rampur districts.
BJP leader Akash Kumar Saxena has registered FIR in Civil Lines Police Station in Rampur against Mr. Khan for his alleged controversial statement against the Indian soldiers. He has attached press clippings with his complaints.
A social activist Janaki Sharan Pandey has also lodged complaint against Mr Khan at Hazaratganj police station in Lucknow. Mr Khan’s comments triggered an angry reaction from the entire political fraternity. However, Mr Khan has said that his statement was misconstrued by media.
