Even though the BJP has not fielded any Muslim candidate in the UP assembly elections but Chief Minsiter Yogi Adityanath has included a Muslim face in his ministry.
Former Ranji player Mohsin Raza has been made the minister of state in the Yogi team. Mohsin is not yet a member of any house.

Mohsin Raza is basically a resident of Lucknow. He had joined BJP a few weeks ago and he has also been made a spokesperson. Raza has played several Ranji matches too.
Talking to media after taking oath Mohsin raza said that people will now see the “new face of chief minister Yogi Adityanath”.
He said that SAB KA sath sab ka vikas will be hallmark of Yogi government.
