After a long search and working 12-14 hours a day for the last eight days, the Naval teams today located the wreckage of the two buses which submerged in Savitri river at Mahad. Naval PRO commander Rahul Sinha said that the wreckage was found approximately 170 and 200 meters from the collapsed bridge site.
Spot diving was carried out despite presence of crocodiles, high current and tough conditions in the river. NDRF teams are being informed and crane for recovery of the wreckage has been summoned. Till now 27 bodies have been found and 15 still reported missing.
