Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in five states, BJP has asked its MPs to play a proactive role in making people aware about the Union Budget presented in the current Parliament session.

Talking to media after the BJP parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi today, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said, party President Amit Shah told the MPs during the meeting that they should take the budget to the people to make them participants in the Prime Minister’s programme ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.

He said, the MPs were told to highlight the schemes and ensure that the benefits reach the grass root level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present at the meeting.
