CBI is now carrying out searches at 40 places in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in connection with Vyapam case. The agency officials are raiding in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Rewa, Jabalpur, Lucknow and Allahabad. Vyapam scam involves massive irregularities and corruption in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). Earlier in July, Supreme Court has order CBI probe into Vyapam scam.
