Global crude oil prices climbed nearly 7% today after President Donald Trump said the US would continue attacks on Iran, stoking fears of prolonged disruptions to oil supply. Brent crude was trading 7.9% up at 109 US dollars and 15 cents per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 9.7% higher at 109 US dollars and 89 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
