Counting is ongoing for HOR elections in Nepal. RSP appears to have a clear majority in 165 seats under First past the post system. counting will immediately start for proportional representation once the results for FPTP are declared.
By the afternoon, Out of 165 constituencies, final results have been declared from 47 constituencies.
Meanwhile, the counting of votes is ongoing in the remaining places. Rastriya Swatantra Party is leading in 83 constituencies under the first-past-the-post system.
RSP has won 36 seats, Nepali Congress 6 and is leading in another 10 constituencies. UML has won 2 seats and is leading in 8, NCP has won 2 seats and is leading in 8 and Shram sanskriti party is leading in 4 constituencies.
