Russia has suspended its participation in a UN-brokered grain deal with Ukraine. This was regarded as the key to addressing global food shortage.

In a tweet, Dmitry Polyanskiy, Deputy Russian envoy to the UNCNN stated that Russia suspended participation in the deal after the attempt of a Ukrainian drone attack against Russian military ships ensuring safe functioning of graindeal.
