In the past 24 hours, one person aged 65 years from Thoubal district of Manipur expired from COVID-19 and other co-morbid conditions thus increasing the total fatality due to the pandemic in the State to 36.
Meanwhile, 184 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed in the past 24 hours while 76 persons were discharged.
So far, Manipur has recorded total positive cases of 6,883 and out of this 4,975 have recovered and discharged from different COVID Care Centres. Now the total number of active cases stands at 1,872 and the recovery rate is 72.27 per cent.
