Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has said, the work of Food Corporation of India (FCI) will be improved at a faster pace.

Briefing MEDIA in New Delhi today, Mr Paswan said, preventing wastage of foodgrains and removing corruption in the FCI are the priorities of the government.

He said, in the last five years, over 5800 persons have been recruited in the FCI and the process to fill another four thousand 103 vacancies has begun.
