Police have arrested one accused in connection with Land dispute group clash which resulted in death of four people on Thursday in Dangawas village of Nagaur district. Thirteen people were injured in the clash. National Commission for Scheduled Castes chairman PL Punia visited Dangawas village and met victims’ families yesterday. Mr Punia asked Police officials to arrest accused in the case. A Centre for Dalit Rights team that visited the village, called for a probe by the CBI or a Special Investigation Team. The People’s Union for Civil Liberties too demanded a CBI inquiry. Nagaur Collector Vishal Rajan said all the victims would be given compensation tomorrow.
