Seat adjustment tussle between RJD and JDU deepens as senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh wants 145 seats for his party in the Assembly elections to take place later this year. Mr. Singh said, the seats won by the JDU, cannot be treated as sitting seats as the JDU had won these seats in alliance with the BJP. There should be different parameters for seat adjustments. The RJD leader’s remarks drew sharp reactions from JDU with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar making a sarcastic remarks that the RJD should stake claim on all 243 seats.
