AS MANY AS 382 cadets were commissioned into the Army after a passing-out parade at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun on Saturday .
South western Commander in Chief Lt. General Cherish Mathson took the salute.
77 cadets from 9 other countries including Afghanistan, Mauritius, Maldives and Fiji also passed out from the academy after completing their training.
Lt Gen Matheson addressed the cadets and evoked in them the feeling of true patriotism and responsibility towards nation.
Cadet Akshat Raj was awarded the Sword of Honour for the best overall performance.
