With the arrest of 10 persons in Uttar Pradesh, police claim to have busted a gang which allegedly used to rig online competitive examinations in connivance with the exam staff.

Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force SSP Amit Pathak said the crime came to light during the Railway Recruitment Board exam on April 22nd in Allahabad.

The gang used to solve papers of online exams in connivance with the exam staff at various centres in the state and used to charge hefty amounts from the aspirants.

Several computers, laptops, routers, fake voter ID and Aadhaar cards, driving licences and passbooks of several bank accounts were seized from the accused.
