Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had telephonic conversation with Mr Pushapa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, and KP Sharma Oli, leaders of the left which has emerged victorious in Nepal elections.
Mr Modi also spoke over phone to outgoing prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, whose Nepali Congress will now sit in the Opposition, MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said at the weekly media briefing here.
During the conversation, which took place around 1630 hrs, the Nepali leaders are understood to have apprised Mr Modi of the latest political development in their country.
