Textiles Minister Smriti Irani today said, gender bias must not be viewed only from the perspective of culture. Speaking at Raisina Dialogue, Mrs Irani said, in India, women leaders have powered the ISRO. She said, even though women continue to lag behind in India, things are improving rapidly.
Mrs Irani said, in Indian examination results women always outperform men. She said, gender justice was a part of the discourse even in ancient texts like the Arthashastra.
