The VYAPAM issue rocked the state legislative assembly today. The House passed a censure motion against the Congress members. As soon as the House met today, Congress members raised the VYAPAM issue demanding resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. They came in the well and shouted slogans. Question Hour could not take place due to this and the proceedings were to be adjourned twice.
An interesting fact was that the ruling BJP members also showed equal aggression as congress members. Speaker completed today’s business amid pandemonium and adjourned the House for the day. Later Congress member Sunderlal Tiwari and others alleged that some BJP members manhandled them outside the House. Leader of opposition Satyadev Katare also said that he was witch hunted by the BJP MLAs. On the other hand forest minister Gaurishankar Shejwar said that Mr. Tiwari is himself responsible for the incident happened with him.
