Ukraine has accused the United States of helping Russia as it fails to provide timely warnings about Russian missile strikes and has raised concerns over Starlink restrictions. The accusation follows massive Russian aerial assaults that killed nine people, targeted power and heating plants, and cut electricity to over 6 lakh residents. The ballistic missiles hit Kyiv before air raid sirens could activate.
Ties between Kyiv and Washington have deteriorated after US President Donald Trump lifted sanctions on Russian diesel, criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, urged a halt to strikes on Russian refineries, and suggested replacing Ukraine’s wartime leader.
