Two of the four abducted Indians in Libya have been brought back safely to University of Sirte. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in a tweet expressed happiness over the safe release of Lakshmikant and Vijay Kumar. She said, efforts are on to secure safe release of the remaining two.
The four Indian nationals were abducted in Libya while returning to India via Tripoli and Tunis. Indian mission in Tripoli came to know last Wednesday that they were abducted at a place approximately 50 kilometres from Sirte.
