Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy has strongly condemned the action of the Srilankan Navy men in mid-sea, chasing away fishermen from the State, leading to the killing of one fisherman.
In a statement, he said five lakh rupees will be given to his family as solatium from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He said his government would take all efforts to safeguard the livelihood of the fishermen.
