Sensex climbs 303 points to close at 60,261

At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 303 points, or 0.5 percent, to close at 60,261. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange advanced 98 points, or 0.6 percent, to 17,957.
