SAARC countries today condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and called for collective actions in fighting the menace.
A Resulotion to this effect was adopted at the 7th SAARC Interior Ministers meeting, which concluded in Islamabad today.

The meeting called for practical solutions to address the challenges on controlling cybercrimes, transnational organized crimes to ensure future for the youth, women and children.

It stressed the need for improving monitoring system, exchange of information and exchange of technology to fight these common social evils within the region.

Meanwhile Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan urged the regional countries to collectively work for promoting good governance and combating challenges faced by the region.

In his welcome address at the SAARC Interior Ministers’ Conference in Islamabad, he said SAARC since its last conference has made major headways to deal with issues of peace, stability, transnational organized crimes and human trafficking.

He expressed the confidence that the regional organization will continue to move forward with the same spirit in order to achieve the goal of peace and stability in the region.
