Rajasthan High Court has upheld reservation to Jats in OBC category. Pronouncing its judgment on eight petitions including one PIL, the court has however quashed the decision to continue reservation to Jats belonging to Dholpur and Bharatpur districts under OBC category. The High Court has also directed the government to constitute statuary commission within four months to review the OBC reservation on the basis of economic, social and political status of various casts falling under OBC.
