PV Sindhu has entered the final of the French Open Badminton Championship following a thrilling win over Japan’s Hina Akechi in Paris yesterday. She secured her spot in the final after defeating Hina Akechi 21-10, 20-22, 21-16 in a grueling 73-minute semifinal clash. The 31-year-old two-time Olympic medallist has reached her second Super 750 final of the season, following her title win at the Japan Open in July. Sindhu will face South Korea’s World No. 1, An Se-young, in the final today.
