AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi blamed the Central Government for price rise and unemployment in the country.
Addressing an election rally in Sedam in Gulbarga Parliamentary constituency in Karnataka today, she said wrong GST and demonetisation have ended employment in small and medium Industries and enterprises. She charged that the farmers are suffering.
She also termed electoral bonds as a scam. She assured that on forming the Government in Centre, the Congress will fill 30 lakh jobs in the Government, 5000 crore rupees will be allocated to finance small enterprises, the minimum wages will be fixed at 400 rupees per day, legal MSP guarantee will be assured to agri produce and GST on agriculture implements will be removed.
Congress approaches Election Commission over misquoting of its Lok Sabha manifesto
The Congress today approached the Election Commission over the alleged misquoting of their Lok Sabha manifesto by political parties. Talking to media after meeting the Election Commission, Senior party leader Supriya Shrinate alleged that the BJP has been falsely attributing declarations that are not part of their manifesto. She said, the party has also objected on the use of religious symbols during political campaigns. Ms Shrinate alleged that candidates are being pressured to rescind their nomination.
Meanwhile, the Congress delegation also denied any wrongdoing over the alleged circulation of fake video of BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah.
