President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Mohamad Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on her birthday. Extending his greetings President Mukherjee wished her good health and happiness.
Vice-President Ansari also wished Mrs Mahajan good health and many more years in the service of the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his message on twitter, prayed for the Lok Sabha Speaker’s long life and good health.
Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr. M. Thambi Durai, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament also greeted Mrs Mahajan on her birthday.
In response, Smt. Mahajan thanked all dignitaries and other well-wishers and hoped that the greetings would motivate her serve the nation better.
