President and Vice President have greeted people on eve of Christmas. In a message, President Pranab Mukherjee hoped that the spirit of Christmas will fill the hearts of people with love and compassion. He also said, the divine teachings of Lord Jesus Christ will inspire people to contribute their best for the welfare of humanity.
In his message, Vice President Mohd. Hamid Ansari said, Christmas reaffirms peoples’ faith in the values of compassion and forgiveness taught by Lord Jesus Christ for the enlightenment of humanity. He hoped that the festival will bring peace, harmony and happiness in peoples’ lives.
