Prime minister Narendra Modi today said development was the only solution for all the problems plaguing the country. Addressing people while inaugurating Chhattisgarh’s 16th statehood day celebrations in Naya Raipur, he asked all people to unitedly fight the war against poverty.
The Prime Minister said that we want competition among the states for development and the central government will provide all possible help to the states without any discrimination,who want to participate in this endvour.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the impact of development initiatives by Dr Raman Singh government in Chhattisgarh will not only change the destiny of this largely tribal state, but also will significantly contribute to the national progress.
He also thanked former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating three new states of Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand in the atmosphere of peace, love and harmony.
Earlier, the Prime Minister dedicated to people Asia’s largest man-made Jungle Safari-developed as an oxy-zone in the fully green-field city of Naya Raipur. He also unveiled Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s statue and dedicated to the people Ekatma-path the newly constructed road in Naya Raipur.
