As the Lok Sabha met at 4 PM, the opposition BJP continued to press for its demand on the Gujrat Lokakyuta issue. Noisy scenes were witnessed and opposition members trooped into the well forcing the Presiding Officer to adjourn the house.
The Samajwadi Party members also raised the issue of the killing of two lawyers in Uttar Pradesh when the house met for the day.
The Rajya Sabha, which was adjourned finally for the day after the house met at 2PM. Agitated BJP members continued to raise their demand of the validity of the appointment of the Lokayukta in Gujarat by the state Governor.
