EDEnforcement Directorate The Enforcement Directorate has filed a charge sheet against a former Patna DM and five others in connection with the 130 crore rupee National Rural Health Mission scam that was unearthed in 2008.

The charge sheet was filed in a special court set up under Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 at Ranchi.

CBI had filed its charge sheet in the case in 2012.

The scam involves purchase of test kits at 3,000 rupees instead of 200 rupees for running mobile clinics. Several equipments were also purchased at inflated prices.
