They said that when quality and good education was going out of reach of the lower and middle classes particularly disadvantaged groups, the foundation was trying to build confidence and communication skills among students belonging to these groups.
At a convocation function held here on Saturday, the guest were so impressed by communication skills demonstrated by non- English knowing students of different hues that one cabinet minister decided to donate his salary to the foundation.
Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah was so mesmerized with the performance of the students including a stammering boy and a housewife, he announced donating his one month salary to the Foundation for expanding the work.
Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, K. Rahman Khan, who presided over the convocation function, said “Its wonderful job of making diamond by polishing unbridled stones, as amazing talent and confidence displayed by the students of the Personality Development Workshop”. He said he was impressed by communication skills demonstrated by non- English knowing students of different hues.
Lauding role of the Noble Education Foundation (NEF) and the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC), he said such workshops should be held at every place in the country.
Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh said it was a marvelous work done by the IICC. It reflects true example of secularism. “I pray for its progress and all the success in future”, he said.

NEF & IICC have been organizing the Personality Development Workshop from 2008 and till date more than 3000 students from Delhi and NCR have benefited by the professional courses. Due to this a large number of our students have got employed so far.
More than 300 students, boys and girls are trained during the current workshop. This is the fourth consecutive summer vacation training program held at IICC.
The training includes enhancing English speaking skills with American and British accent, time management and behavioral skills. The art of developing self confidence also figures in the professional training. Mr. Munawar Zama from Hyderabad has been imparting the training.
