Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deliver all the promises of his government to provide a special assistance to Bihar on the lines of one given to recently bifurcated Andhra Pradesh.
In his letter to the Prime Minister Mr. Kumar referred to Finance Minister Arun Jaitely’s statement in Calfornia in which the latter hinted that a special financial assistance is likely to be given to Bihar Soon . Mr Kumar said, If the dictum of cooperative federalism is to be genuinely translated into reality, speedy action is required in the state government’s proposal pending with the centre.
