That’s why I don’t think it appropriate to remain on the post of Deputy Collector by compromising on my fundamental rights, religious beliefs and constitutional values. I resign from the post of Deputy Collector on 22nd June.

International Sarva Dharma Shanti organized in Amla on 25th June by Gagan Malik Foundation and Sarva Dharma Sambhav Yatra along with conference and World Peace Award ceremony and inauguration program of Sarva Dharma Peace and Education Center. Deputy Collector Nisha Bangre had applied to the Madhya Pradesh government (General Administration Department) on May 19 for permission to join the yatra, but the General Administration Department denied the permission sought by Nisha Bangre under Rule 9 of the MP Civil Services Conduct Rules 1965 ( 2) and found contrary to rule 16(2). Citing these rules, the Deputy Collector was not given permission to participate in the programme/travel.
