The Pioneer and Times of India today higlighted Pakistan barring Indian envoy from vising Gurudwara. “Envoy barred from Pak Gurudwara, India lodges strong protest”, read Pioneer headline. The paper writes that, the Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan and other consular officials were not allowed to visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib and meet Indian pilgrims despite having the necessary travel permission.

“Plastic disappears from shops on Day 1 of Maharashtra ban” reports The Tribune. Though most reports suggest that penalties have been put off till Monday, DNA reports “Maharashtra plastic ban, Rs 7.27 lacs were collected in fines on day 1”.

“Travel light as airlines hike luggage fees” warns the Business Standard. Leading airlines have raised the charges for luggage to Rs 400 per kg for anything beyond 15 kg from the existing Rs 300 per kg. The cost of pre-booked excess luggage has also risen by 33 percent in a few airlines.
