Monsoon today reached the national capital one day ahead of its scheduled arrival. The normal onset date for monsoon in Delhi is 29th of June.
Head of the National Weather Forecast in IMD, Dr K Sathi Devi said, the Monsoon would cover the entire country in next 2 to 3 days.
She said, Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Gujarat region, some parts of Rajasthan, entire Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
Mrs Sathi said, conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and thus the entire country during the next 2 to 3 days.
