On completion of one year in the office of BJP government at centre today the BJP President Amit Shah said that the government has performed very well on all fronts ranging from economy, international diplomacy and strengthening federal structure to provide good governance. He said the fiscal deficit is under control, trade has grown, foreign investments are at their highest and prices have been brought under control. Mr. Shah also hit out at Congress leaders saying the politician who propounded the zero-loss theory in coal scam should face the people of India as after the bidding of 20 cancelled coal blocks out of 229, the government has got around 2 lakh crore rupees.
Shah said NDA government has come out of policy paralysis and restored the dignity of the Prime Minister’s Office during its one year rule. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Shah said every ministry is now working freely without interference from Groups of Ministers which was in vogue in the UPA regime. He said the NDA regime has also ended trust deficit among the people about the government. The BJP chief said the NDA is a visible government and seen taking proactive steps unlike the UPA where people used to search for the existence of the government.

Attacking UPA government on corruption issue, the BJP chief said that during previous regime, the people were fed up with scams but now no one is able to point fingers at the government for any scam. Mr Shah said the Centre has brought a law on black money and is determined to get it back.
Replying to a question about power tussle between Delhi Lieutenant Governor and Chief Minister, he said that it is all about interpretation of the Constitution and the issue will be settled by courts.
On the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, the BJP chief said his party is taking it very seriously and expressed confidence that BJP will form a government with full majority. When asked about possible alliance with former Bihar Chief Minister and expelled JD(U) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, he said the talks are on.
