Uttar Pradesh, police have seized about ten lakh rupees in fake 2,000 rupee notes in Meerut. The amount was seized after police busted a gang of suppliers of counterfeit notes. Police has also arrested two people running the alleged gang, including one Khushi Gandhi, who claimed to be the State president of the National Lokmat Party. A printing machine, paper used to print fake notes, colours and cutters were also recovered.
