New Delhi- Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis called on the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to invite him for the upcoming Nashik Simhasta Kumbh Mela to be held from 14 July, 2015. The Chief Minister was here to attend the launching event of the three Flagship Schemes of Smart Cities Mission, Atal Mission and Housing for All.

The Chief Minister apprised the PM of all the sincere efforts taken by the government for the smooth conduct of the Kumbh Mela. It would also be celebrated as ‘Haritkumbh’ to promote the message of preserving environment and cleanliness in tune with the Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan.

Fadnavis invited the Prime Minister to grace the Kumbh Mela as per the latter’s convenience during August or September.
