Due to the prevailing pandemic situation, the Government of Karnataka has issued fresh guidelines for the celebration of Christmas and new year under Disaster Management regulations.
The Government has asked the Churches in the state to ensure that people do not congregate in large numbers. Between December 30 and January 2nd, the clubs, pubs, restaurants are prohibited from organising parties, gala and fest.
Only limited customers with online booking will be allowed in the hotels, which have been asked to ensure social distancing. The public are also prohibited from gathering on streets and junctions. The police have been issued directions to ensure that people do not gather in large numbers for celebrating the new year. The people are advised to burst only green crackers.
