At a function to facilitate the newly elected Aligarh Muslim University Students Union here, Khan said IUML would extend full support to the Union in its effort for the welfare of students.

He emphasized the need of political awakening in Northern India for the upliftment of the community. “Unity and team spirit can bring development and positive changes in any society. IUML has proved it in Kerala where it has a strong base” he said adding that  Kerala Muslims achieved development in every field through their political unity. “Let us take Kerala as a model and create new history in North India” –He said.

A farewell function was also held in the delegates meeting to bid farewell to the students from north Indian states who got admission in Aligarh Muslim University’s newly started Malappuram Campus.

AMU Student Union Secretary Amir Qutub, AMU, MSF President Abdullah Pullisheri Parambi, Hameed, Tafseer Ahmad, , Muhammed Shaheer, Muhammed Arif Bobi, Arif addressed the meeting.

District IUML President DR. Syed Mukhtar Rana launched Party’s membership drive.  Delegates meeting held here has also decided to enroll new members in the state and rejuvenate the Party activities in UP.

District IUML Secretary Engineer Shakeel Ahamed welcomed the delegates, and Alighar City Muslim Youth League President   Ladafat Ali proposed vote of thanks.
