India Meteorological Department, IMD has predicted a wet spell over northwest India due to an active Western Disturbance till 26th of May, with peak intensity today and tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall at most places with thunderstorms, lightning and occasional gusty winds is very likely over Western Himalayan Region.

The weatherman has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and northeast Rajasthan today and moderate to heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. Hailstorm is very likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan today and tomorrow.
