Heatwave conditions are expected to become severe in the coming days in North India. Delhi NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh will experience sultry weather in the next two to three days.
Talking to media, Met official BP Yadav said, the first heatwave spell is being experienced in the northern belt. He added that no thunderstorm or rain shower is expected.
In Rajasthan, normal life has been thrown out of gear due to severe heat at most of places in the state. The heat wave conditions badly affected western and northern part of the state.
Delhi today woke up to a hot morning. As per the MeT department, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 44 degrees Celsius.
