Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the people that the government is unwavering in its effort to create an India which will be corruption free and fruits of development will touch every citizen.
In a series of tweets, Mr Modi said, he is very happy to learn that citizens are expressing their gratitude to bankers and getting their old notes exchanged in a very patient and orderly manner.
He said,such warmth, enthusiasm and the patience to bear limited inconvenience for a greater good is indeed very heartening.
Mr Modi said,it is also heartening to learn that people are actively volunteering to help senior citizens withdraw money and exchange their old currency.
