Union Civil Aviation Ministry will expedite its work on involving sectors like defence, logistics, transportation, mining, infrastructure sectors as it aims to make India as a global hub for Drones by 2030.

Late last month the Centre issued fresh norms for drones usage in the country.

In the new Drone policy, instead of controlling and regulating, the government will leave it to the manufacturer.

At the same time, government is also looking at creating job opportunities through use of Drones and expanding its reach.
