Geeta, a deaf-mute Indian girl living in Pakistan after accidentally crossing the border, will be back very shortly to India.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said Geeta’s family have been located and will be handed over to the family only after the DNA test.

Later, spokesperson Vikas Swarup told media persons  that all the formalities are being done to bring the girl back.

He said, the girl has identified a family through photographs sent by Indian High Commissioner to her.

Mr Swarup, said if there is some mismatch in DNA tests, then Geeta will be kept in child care homes in Delhi or Indore.
