The number of fatalities due Corona has mounted to 97 with the reporting of seven deaths in Bihar. With 276 new Coronavirus cases,the total number of cases reaches 12,140 and 3,027 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. 9,014 patients have been recovered and discharged from hospitals.
Recovery rate is over 74 percent.Meanwhile 40 doctors across the state including 20 in Patna have tested positive.The state government has declared 1,314 containment zones.Over 18 lakh households are in these containment zone.Health survey has been intensified in these areas to identify suspected positive cases.
The niece of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was found Coronavirus today.She was sent to Patna AIIMS for treatment.Residence of the CM is being sanitized.
