Image result for euEuropean Parliament vice-president Ryszard Czarnecki has hinted that European Union might impose economic and political sanctions on Islamabad, if Pakistan fails to stop human rights violation in Balochistan. Czarnecki, who attended a silent vigil where the protesters condemned Pakistan for the ongoing atrocities and paid homage to those who lost their lives, added that it is not the time for words, but for actions.

Stating that Islamabad has dual standards, the European Parliament vice-president said on one hand it shows a clean face to the world while on the other it indulges in human rights violations.

He said that all the 28 members of the EU should react against Pakistan’s brutal operations and policies towards the Baloch people. He also acknowledged the problem in Pakistan is that the government is controlled by the military.

Meanwhile, Exiled Baloch leader Khan of Kalat Amir Ahmed Suleman Daud has said that they are considering forming a government in exile. In an interview to a news agency in Geneva, Mr Daud said that the formation of the government in exile is possible. He said, he will talk to the Baloch people. Balochistan is a nation and there are many tribals included, too. Mr Daud said, there are no differences among the Baloch people.

On being asked how was the exiled government going to be formed, the 35th Khan of Kalat said that Baloch people will go around the world lobbying for the cause and with enough support the government will be set up. He also insisted that Balochistan is a reality and the proof of its existence is with the British. Refuting the claims that Balochistan belongs to Pakistan, Mr Daud threw light on the history of his nation and how Islamabad annexed it with the help of its military.
